The Worst Person in the World

The Worst Person in the World carries with him, and her, one extremely fierce and marked characteristic:

1. Group association - The Worst Person in the World is, by clothing, by language, by smell, by body type, by residence, by pet, by car, by method of speech, by mannerisms, by political affiliation, by motives, by ideals, by moods, by opinions, by tastes, and by employment, a member of a group who's members share a number of similar characteristics in a statistically improbable number of the previously stated properties of the modern human.

This characteristic carries with it three sub-properties:

a) Characteristics set by group - The Worst Person in the World's characteristic properties that match those properties of the said group mutate in an improbably similar fashion to the mutation of the characteristic properties of the group.

b) Individualizing characteristics - The Worst Person in the World regards, explains, views, supports, argues and defends his (or her) characteristics from the perspective that it is his (or her) creation. Following this, his (or her) characteristics are portrayed and presented with an aura of depth and surety.

c) Adoption for membership - The Worst Person in the World adopts characteristics in order to gain membership to said group. As a result, he (or she) will defend his (or her) characteristics from the perspective of necessity and will carry with it the general characteristics of desperation: Closed-mindedness, anger and insult. Internally, he (or she) will not oppose or question the nature of his (or her) characteristics.

d) Cosmetic characteristics - Said characteristics radiate from the Worst Person in the World in a directly proportional relationship to his (or her) distance from group membership. The direction and force of said characteristics become increasingly passive as he (or she) is distanced from the group (socially or physically). In correlation to this, the Worst Person in the World's characteristics become malleable, and he (or she) will begin to absorb the characteristics of the nearest, most overbearing, or most similar group.

Although technical, this definition extends itself to a great many social, political, monetary and religious realms. It can be used to describe the mentality of individuals and the masses in historical events that now seem remarkable.

Its predominance in society today given the knowledge of its existence and the negative effect it has had on humans is attributed to the simple idea that those characteristics adopted today are dissimilar from those adopted historically. It is therefore assumed and defended that it is the specific nature of those characteristics the lead to historical tragedies.

This is certainly erroneous, for this definition does not address any specific characteristics to define the Worst Person in the World save the characteristic of adopting characteristics. Therefore, if the Worst Person in the World were to defend his (or her) characteristics using specifics rather than the method in which these characteristics were adopted, he (or she) would be exhibiting a now predictable reaction.
