Today is a New Order Day |

We'll begin with Blue Monday. But first, we'll explain why this is New Order Day. It's a mundane Sunday feeling day with anti-climatic dismal drizzle outside. The blinds are closed and work has to be done through the light that passes through the creases. We don't have interest drive or desire to work. But more than yesterday. Blue Monday starts it off with a tribalistic repetitive beat underrun by some sweet melody. His dismal uninterested voice is perfect. Knowing something good has to be done, that there's something underneath good and powerful. But I'm not interested. I'm doing it because I have to. Next is Ruined in a Day. Not the original, a remix. It lets us vent a little of that inner frustration. But it's also uplifting. So it merges that frustration with force, and makes us want to use it for productivity. That there's good at the end. He's still mundane, but more focussed. Next we jump into Slow Jam. We can't help but tap something to match the beat of this track. Our heads will probably bop back and forth too. Little can be said to describe it. It just works. The climax is energetic and demanding. Then Special, Your Silent Face, Round and Round, and Vicious Streak. Oh yeah. |
