She sat accross from me,
And I accross from her.
in silence.
We knew each other well,
Yet were afraid to say anything.
In agony i sat there, contemplating.
What she thought, what I thought.
What would happen, if this moment was fate.
I burnt a hole in the ground, staring.
And without a word she crawled down to her knees,
She crawled over to me,
And placed her head in my lap, closing her eyes.
I placed my hand in her hair.
And sighed. |
