it cleared his mind this one only time as the song that they sang together flowed from one ear through the mind to the next smiles upon smiles of slowed down time represented and brought upon thoughts of endless love and appreciation But then it stopped. And he replayed the song to resume the thoughts of utopia. Warm summer days where the sun shined and she closed her eyes amidst the strains of light he loved the way she looked, scared of the sun, yet more radiant than ten. her blond wavy hair flowed just as the wind traversed the contours of the car and the fresh air that filled his nostrils surely felt the skin she bore he missed those days. He still misses those hazy wonderful beautiful days. She would smile and squint, and laugh in a way that made him never, ever forget. and now as he thinks of her as the music plays he wishes things were easier. he wishes he could have loved her as she loved him. she is the only one that has ever made his life complete, and now it is a void he hides through smiles. depression is not a state a person can remain in. you must move on, as he has. But to what. |
