If foreign policy in USA has been a large problem in the Middle East, and terrorists wished to dissuade USA from further involvement in middle eastern affairs, the only possible route is to cripple USA in a way that puts pressure on the administration to undo much of the hate it has created. The people of USA must, on their own, force the administration to solve the issue of being crippled. If this is the desire, then what is the path? Well, USA is the most powerful nation in the world, so a "war" wouldn't be a real possibility. And a war wouldn't result in the American people putting pressure on their leaders. So then, the people must be forced to rebel against their leaders... after all, it is a democracy, and the leaders are only leaders due to the people's wishes. How do you make people seek a solution? You scare them...ie, you terrorize them. Hence the answer: Terrorism. The most covert form of attack, where the attackers are almost indistinguishable from the civilians, and where one attack creates ripples of terror that span a thousand times the distance. Perpetrators are infinitely difficult to find, and in most cases, die for their cause. The truth is that if someone is willing to die, he/she will almost to a 100% certainty achieve what he/she wants to achieve prior to death. It's the epitome of "fear the man who has nothing to lose". If terrorism is the goal, then we must terrorize. But we cannot accomplish a nation wide sweep on our own... we need the help of others. But we are too divided...we do not trust one another and we all have different goals. Therefore, we must all have the same goal: Cause fear in the hearts of Americans, and make sure they blame the administration for those fears. A dissention will occur where foreign policy will change dramatically, and both sides will be better off in the long run. But how do we make everyone have the same burning goal? Well... we must unify ourselves, and the one trait that we all have in common is that we are all Muslims. Therefore, we must make that common trait more apparent...and to do so, we must create a love for Muslims, and a hatred of those that hurt them. Therefore, two things must occur: 1. Innocent muslims must be damaged. 2. Everyone must see that they are being damaged unjustly. We must have a televised and very widely known event, whereby USA is seen killing and abusing innocent muslims.
Premise Bush is the new administration. Bush's key figureheads are the same people that Bush's dad had in office when he was president. Bush (and his administration) have motives similar to that of his father. His father's criticism lies mainly in the fact that he did not depose Saddam from Iraq. Therefore, Bush will be very interested in finishing the job. Path We must achieve one thing, and one thing only with our initial attack: Lots and lots of attention. Lots of attention will force Bush to act on it. Most likely resulting in the occupation of Afghanistan. Lots of attention will also keep the worldwide eye on USA for years to come. And a war in Afghanistan will definitely spark the interest of the world. ....but it will not end there. Bush will see opportunity in the Middle East once American troops are already there. He will believe that the American people, sickened by our initial attack will support him in any military action he decides, even after Afghanistan. Therefore, he will pursue Iraq, under the veil of relieving the world of terrorism. But he will not be justified, and the world will see this. But he will not see this, because his nature is predictable... as are his councelors and ministers. Like his father, he will pursue it with interests that are more of a personal agenda than a solution.
We will create a magnificently large ripple in the hearts of the American people with our initial attack...they will react by reciprocating, and invading Afghanistan. And it should stop there, but it won't. And due to Bush's intentions, we can count on him making a large mistake in Iraq, thereby awakening the world to USA's innapropriate role in the Miiddle East. Muslims globally will unite in their hatred for the Bush administration and the American people, and the terrorist attack that we initiated with will seem like nothing in the onslaught of attacks that follow... not by us, but by a unified Muslim world in defiance of US foreign policy. The result of the onslaught of terrorist attacks on US soil is predictable... the nations of the world will condemn USA for its involvement in Iraq, and past grievances will be explored. Blame will fall solely on the heads of those that initiated such involvement, and US foreign policy will be forced to focus on its own internal affairs from that point forward. And the middle east will remain independant to deal with itself and it's neighbours without US interference, as it should be. Let us find a target that represents much about USA... its wealth, it's supposed beauty... its capitalism... something they will not be able to turn a blind eye to... |
