Sitting in a car late at night, with her, simply speaking softly. Hearing her soft breath and the tender voice. I look at her briefly every so often, Hoping not to seem bashful. We speak about life, emotions and past. About rocks, sex, and other unimportant things. Her hand lightly touches my knee, And in that short exchange of warmth, I want to kiss her. I want to tell her I want to kiss her. I want to feel my warm breath ride her cheek. I want to slide my hand along her other cheek. And I want to press my lips against hers. And fade away. She is not perfect, And she may not even be the one. But she is here now, With me and speaking to me. And all i want to do is hold her in my arms. I want to close my eyes as shut as possible, And not miss the world as I escape. Hoping that I could be at peace with her in my arms. Watch the hazy world blurr as my eyelids close. And just feel her body covered with mine. A fantasy at this present state that engulfs me, Simply to want her to want me to touch her. To warm her up this cold night with my genuinity. My want to share my warmth with her. I want her to hear my song. |
