Surrounds us.
Angels in a golden sky,
Descending like feathers.
Their bare feet touch the cool grass
Forming a circle around us.
It's in me. It's expanding.
The sky within my heart.
Inflating, swelling...
Making me pause.
Making me close my eyes.
I must pack it back in,
Else I might do something rash.
And proceed...
The future is coming...
It approaches...
And I must distract myself,
I must slow myself,
I must control my heart.
Because I want to run to you.
I want to claim you.
I want to quicken time.
I want to control the waves,
Making them higher,
Faster.
